The Helmet

The company that manufactures Harvick's helmet allows you to choose from about 30 different designs for the outside of the helmet - the default is just a white helmet.  Of course, not a single one of the choices was orange - about 1/2 of the patterns are very feminine (pink/hearts/butterflies/flowers), with the other 1/2 being gender-neutral, or more masculine.  We debated a little, but went with the "Ice Age 2" pattern. 

Not great expressions from either boy - they were ready to be changed into jammies and go to bed!

However, Patrick thought it might be fun to make Harvick's helmet a bit more personalized . . . he ordered custom-made "29" vinyl stickers in the accurate font and color scheme of Kevin Harvick's Sprint Cup NASCAR car (basically miniature versions of the decal on his truck).

Now, do you think anyone will comment on the number?!
