Apraxia of Speech . Week 12

Ryder attended Speech Therapy at Primary Children's this week.  His participation was good, although his ability to say "all done" is least appreciated when he is in therapy.

SOUND: "p"
PRIMARY WORD(S): puppy, people
ADDITIONAL WORD(S): Peep (as in the Easter treats!), baby
HAND SIGNAL: "p" (puh) - cup your hand in front of your mouth while saying "puh"

Ryder continues to attempt parroting more often.  He has even started saying "tain" (train) the majority of the time he references trains (which, is OFTEN).  He still follows "tain" with "who who" most times, but the fact that he is saying "tain" without prompting is huge!
